  • What types of photography services do you offer?

    • Portrait photography

  • How do I book a session?

    • You can book a session by completing the booking interest form for review or, if where required, we will arrange a suitable meeting or call to discuss the project after which I will send you a link for your final confirmation.

  • What is your pricing structure?

    • Portrait/Event and Lifestyle shoots start from £110.00 with various options.

    • Event photography prices start from £180.00 for a half day with various options.

  • Do you require a deposit to secure a booking?

    • A 25% deposit for all first time clients. No deposit is required for returning clients.

  • How far in advance should I book?

    • The sooner the better. Whilst I can sometimes schedule last minute requests, generally speaking a four week minimum is advised. This ensure I have opportunity to fully research locations, concept and plan for any equipment or accessories required.

  • What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

    • I am happy to reschedule shoots due to weather or illness. Cancellations within 4 weeks will require 25% of the fee paying (minus any deposit paid). Cancellations within 1 week are subject to 50% payment (minus any deposit paid).

  • How long does a typical session last?

    • Portraits/headshots/lifestyle are up to two hours

    • Event photography is based on the information you provide at time of booking.

  • Do you travel for shoots? Are there travel fees?

    • I am happy to travel. Fuel and parking costs will be factored in to my quoted prices.

  • What should I wear or prepare for the session?

    • Consider the colours that not only suit you, but work with your intended final use of the image. if these are for your website then your clothing should take in to account how they will look with that colour pallet. For social media use, will the style, colour match or enhance your brand guidelines.

  • How long will it take to receive my photos?

    • Generally speaking most images are provided in 1-2 weeks from date of shoot. I will communicate if it will be anything different from this.

  • In what format will I receive my images?

    • You will have access to a secure digital gallery with options to download or order prints subject to the package required.

  • Do you offer prints or albums?

    • Prints are available via a digital gallery and delivered directly to your door. I also offer photo books which can be requested in advance or after delivery of the images for review.

  • Can I request specific edits or retouching?

    • Where possible I try to support individual requests where possible. Please contact me to discuss.

  • Are the images watermarked?

    • Subject to the options chosen at booking stage, some images may be watermarked.

  • Do you retain the copyright to the photos?

    • Yes, the copyright is retained by Soul Perception Photography. Usage of the photos will be discussed and agreed at time of booking.

  • Can I share the photos on social media?

    • Yes, please tag and credit to my social media accounts too.

  • What happens if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

    • This is the UK, the weather can be out of our control and I’m happy to either adapt the shoot concept or reschedule for another day.

  • Do you have a studio or shoot on location?

    • I don’t have a permanent studio. I mostly shoot on location but have a portable studio that I can bring to you, or hire a space or a studio if required.

  • How do you handle privacy and data protection?

  • Can I refer friends, and do you offer referral discounts?

    • Yes, referrals are always welcome. I offer a discount to you (by way of a voucher/credit) and the referred party for their shoot.
